Generating a full cPanel backup

The full cPanel backup feature allows you to create an archive of all the files and configurations on your website.

Note: You can only use this option to move your account to another server or to download a copy of your account. You cannot restore Full Backups through your cPanel interface.

Step 1Login to cPanel via the Jolly Leaf Tree House

Step 2: Click Backup under the Files heading.

Step 3: Click Download a Full Website Backup.

Step 4: Complete the fields and click Generate Backup.

Once the full backup of your account has been completed, you will receive an email at the address you specified (if any).

Step 5: Download the backup by clicking Backup from the main cPanel screen.

Then click the backup you generated under the Backups Available for Download heading to download your full cPanel backup.
